Djokovic gets us underway under the roof. Early encouragement for Sinner as the champion stretches and can’t make a backhand volley. Now Djokovic goes wide on a fairly routine forehand. 30-30 and a second serve for the Italian to look at. In he comes, forehand winner and Sinner has a break point. Excellent, precision first serve helps him to dominate the point for deuce. A really high-quality rally follows, Sinner is really climbing into his forehand and one clocking an astonishing 104 mph earns break point number two. Fault! They feel each other out again but this time Sinner nets.
