The world’s best players will all be in action at the 2023 World Snooker Championship held at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield between Saturday, April 15 and Monday, May 1.

Reigning and defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan will be going for a record-breaking eighth world title in Sheffield having defeated Judd Trump 18-13 in last year’s final to draw level with Stephen Hendry, who claimed seven titles here in the 1990s.

Following the conclusion of the qualifying rounds a few days previously, just 32 players will travel to the Crucible, consisting of 16 seeds who will face the 16 qualifiers in round one.
