Four people have been killed and dozens more injured
A bridge overpass collapsed onto railway tracks as a passenger train passed underneath in Russia’s western Bryansk region on Saturday evening. At least four people were killed and 24 others injured, health officials told RT.
First responders continue to rescue people from the wreckage. While the cause of the incident remains unclear, the newspaper Izvestia cited regional health officials as saying that the bridge was brought down by an explosion. Multiple Telegram channels have claimed that the bridge was likely targeted by sabotage.
