Arsenal preseason fixtures, USA summer tour 2023 vs Manchester United and Barcelona
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be making a quick summer turnaround ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season.
The Gunners are gearing up for the return of Champions League football to the Emirates Stadium for the first time since 2017, and Arteta is looking to hit the ground running.
Ahead of their return to Premier League action, Arteta’s side have scheduled warmup matches in Germany, the USA and the UK, as part of their preseason campaign in July and August.

Arsenal preseason fixtures 2023/24
Arsenal put five preseason matches in the diary, including three in the USA, as well as games in Nuremburg and London.
The Gunners started their preseason campaign with a 1-1 draw against FC Nurnberg before storming to a 5-0 win over an MLS All Star side, on their arrival in the USA.
However, despite securing an opening victory in North America, Arteta ‘s charges lost 2-0 to Manchester United in New Jersey, ahead of facing La Liga champions Barcelona on July 27 – which played out as a 5-3 thriller in the Gunners’ favour.
Their final game before the 2023/24 campaign will be the annual campaign curtain raiser, the FA Community Shield, against Man City on August 6.

Where is Arsenal playing preseason 2023/24?
After the matches in Germany and the USA, Arsenal now return to London to play both Monaco and Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium in the capital. Then all roads lead to the Premier League opener.

When is Arsenal’s first Premier League match 2023/24?
Arsenal will return to the UK at the end of July as their build up to the new campaign continues.
With the Community Shield scheduled for August 6, Arsenal have a six-day window before their first Premier League match of 2023/24, at home to Nottingham Forest on August 12.
Arsenal’s Champions League return starts on September 19, with the group stage draw taking place a few weeks beforehand.
