It’s down to the final stretch of the 2023 NCAA softball tournament, with Oklahoma City looming in the horizon.
The 16 teams in this year’s super regional matchups are set, and will be brought to your screens this weekend.
Oklahoma, the top-ranked team in the nation, has dominated all year. The Sooners are set to face off with No. 16 Clemson on Friday as they search for their third consecutive College World Series title.
Can the Tigers find a way to derail the juggernaut? And who else will secure a spot in the Women’s College World Series?

Here’s how to watch the 16 NCAA softball super regionals for 2023:
When are the NCAA softball tournament super regionals?
- Date: Thursday, May 25 through Sunday, May 28 (if necessary)
Two of the eight matchups will begin Thursday, while the other six will start on Friday. The super regionals are best-of-three series, so they could last either two or three days each depending on how things play out.
The winners will advance to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City, which begins on Thursday, June 1.

How to watch NCAA softball super regionals
The ESPN family of networks, specifically ESPN2 and ESPNU, will be broadcasting all eight of the NCAA softball super regionals matchup in the weekend leading up to the Women’s College World Series.
Fans can also stream the game on the ESPN app and ESPN+ along with Fubo, which offers a free trial and access to the ESPN stations.

Women’s College World Series schedule 2023
- Super regionals: May 25-28
- College World Series: June 1-9
The 2023 Women’s College World Series starts on Thursday, June 1 and will run until Friday, June 9.
This year marks the 41st annual Women’s College World Series since the event kickstarted in 1982. There was no event in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It’s also the 31st time it will be held in Oklahoma City, Okla., at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium.
