UFC 288 results, full card, schedule for Aljamain Sterling vs Henry Cejudo
Henry Cejudo can become a three-division champion when he returns from a brief hiatus to take on Aljamain Sterling’s run at UFC 288 on May 6.
‘Triple C’ will take on current bantamweight champion Sterling in the headline event of a stacked card at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
Sterling has defended the belt twice, beating Petr Yan in a rematch as part of a bitter rivalry that developed between the pair after the fighter known as ‘Funk Master’ initially won the title from the Russian because of a controversial disqualification.
The American beat Yan by split decision at UFC 273, then won in more conclusive style with a knockout of TJ Dillashaw at UFC 280 in October 2022.
Belal Muhammad’s bantamweight contest with Gilbert Burns also features at UFC 288, as does a strawweight scrap between Jessica Andrade and Yan Xiaonan.
The Sporting News will have live results from UFC 288, as well as the full schedule and details on how to tune in.
