Wrexham record points total in National League: Ryan Reynolds club claims record league haul
Wrexham’s push for the National League title, and promotion back into the English Football League, has not been smooth in recent weeks. Phil Parkinson’s side have had something of a stumble in the run-in.
The Welsh giants are battling to hold off rivals Notts County in the final straight as their high-profile campaign reaches a fascinating climax at the Racecourse Ground.
The club have been transformed since the 2021 buyout from Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as the footballing world have become fascinated by their story.
Promotion is almost confirmed for Reynolds and McElhenney this season as Wrexham continue to break new ground in the final weeks of 2022/23.
Their 3-0 victory over Yeovil Town on April 18 took them a step closer to the Football League and saw them set a new National League record.

Records broken by Wrexham in 2022/23
The record points mark is another huge step from Wrexham but it is not the only record smashed by Parkinson and his players this season.
Their 3-0 win over Yeovil was their 33rd league victory, having already cruised past the previous high of 30, and they have already matched the record for the lowest number of defeats in a National League season (three).

When will Wrexham get promoted?
Wrexham are in pole position to win the National League title in 2022/23 and secure automatic promotion to EFL League Two, with just two matches left in their regular season (total of 46 games played).
Going into their final pair of league matches, Parkinson’s side need just one more win to confirm the title and promotion ahead of hosting Boreham Wood on April 22.
Only the top team earns automatic promotion to League Two. The other promotion place goes to the winner of the playoffs — a min-tournament held between the sides that finish between second and seventh in the league.
